Begin by island-hopping across the Seto Inland Sea, visiting art islands where contemporary works sit naturally within the landscape. Continue into the heart of Shikoku to discover its living traditions, from indigo dyeing and handmade paper to local crafts and regional flavours.
Travelling by private vehicle and boat, we’ll take our time moving between the coast and mountains, with opportunities to meet local makers, enjoy the scenery and get to know the character of each place along the way.
