Have you ever dreamed of a place where art reigns supreme? Where creativity is almost tangible in the air? Well, our next tour is going somewhere truly captivating...
Floating in the Seto Inland Sea of southern Japan is a gem known as Naoshima, also known as Art Island. It's a breathtaking wonderland of museums, installations, and outdoor sculptures that reveal themselves around every corner.
The creative project is a result of efforts by the Benesse Corporation that began in the late '80s and includes works by famous artists like Yayoi Kusama, James Turrell, and David Hockney, all housed by incredible buildings designed by starchitect Tadao Ando.
If you’re into Japanese art and culture, both contemporary and traditional, and want to discover a remote part of Japan studded with scenic views and fresh seafood, the 2019 Setouchi Triennale set in various ports along the spectacular Seto Inland Sea is the event you don’t want to miss this year!
We're running a special 6-day tour to Naoshima to indulge in creativity and nature. We're not advertising it anywhere else. It's going to be tight-nit, boutique, and truly special.
